Everytime we go to "pick n pay" my daughter Sukaynah begs me to buy marshmallows, rice crispies and toffee sweets !This was going on for quite a couple of months as I always ended up forgeting one of the three items on the list! Finally a couple of weeks ago I managed to buy these ingredients and a much delighted Sukaynah started very enthusiastically to make this sweet and simple "marshmallow crispies" easy peasy !This recipe is taken from Shanaaz Parker's cook book "Indulge".Great idea for bored kids in the holiday's...........
Ingredients:
100 g toffee sweets
100g margarine
100g rice crispies
100g marshmallows
Method:
Grease a shallow. tin and place the toffes, margarine and marshmallows into large pan and melt them gently over low heat stirring all the time , when everything has melted and blended together , remove pan from heat and gently stir in the rice crispies and then sppon the mixture into the greased tin and press it gently with the back of the spoon.Leave the mixture to set for about 30 minutes then cut into squares and enjoy!
